Welcome to the Bath branch of the newly awarded '2010 Independent Italian Restaurant Chain of the Year', where our excellence has been nationally recognised.
Following the huge success of our Broadmead restaurant, we opened our next restaurant in Bath in 1985. The whole family helped to build the restaurant, excavating the basement to carve out the distinctive barrel shaped booth that is still there today! We were extremely sympathetic with the design as the building is Grade 2 Listed.
Today the restaurant is run by Angelo Nicastro, nephew of our founder, and he is overseeing some subtle modernising of the restaurant. Most recently, we have opened a terrace area at the rear of the restaurant that is great for al fresco dining in summertime, but covered and heated in winter.
More than twenty years since opening, the restaurant is still as busy as ever, thanks to its reputation for excellent and consistent authentic Italian food, so booking is essential at the weekend! Of course, we cater for parties as well and our beautiful lower ground floor is ideal for private hire.
